months during its fifty-fourth session on the progress of the United Nations Special Mission to Afghanistan.
The present report, which covers developments sincethe issuance of my second quarterly report, of 16 June
2000 (A/54/918-S/2000/581), is also submitted in response to requests by the Security Council for regular information on the main developments in Afghanistan. Full report
